Dinner with Lucian Hudson, Expert Consultant on Communication, Foreign and Commonwealth Office

On July 8, the Press and Communications Team of the British Embassy in Mexico City hosted a talk for Chevening alumni related to media. The guest speaker was Lucian Hudson, Expert Consultant and former Director of Communications of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the UK.

Lucian Hudson visited Mexico in order to carry out some research for the FCO on what makes for effective partnerships and collaboration, examining the relationships between governments, business and civil society. Until June 2008 he was Director of Communications, in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office - the first time the FCO has had an integrated communications directorate.

Lucian Hudson and Embassy staff had the opportunity to informally interact with Chevenings over dinner and share their knowledge on media in Mexico.
